That typhoon has literally made me stop procrastinating as I have since last year and get my eve laptop fixed.
 :D

The Typhoon is a goddamn Battlestar. It should launch Geckos to complete the effect.

"Retract the flight pods!"

Then you can hit your Large Micro Jump Drive and shout, "Jump!"

Makes sense since I'm rewatching BSG right now, and my typhoon did have a MJD. No wonder I'm excited.

Battlestar Typhoon:

After a disastrous campaign against <insert EVE Online faction here>, Laurentis must bring his Typhoon and all his crew back to friendly space some fifty jumps away, while under fierce pursuit.

Although last I checked, my Typhoon was hijacked while I was away and I'll have to get a new one when I come back.
Not quite the climatic ending we were going for there I'm sure...  :ugh:

I love the Mordu's ships. They look like giant stealth fighters, which kinda makes sense since they are mercenaries who want to get in and get out all while being clandestine as possible. It is too bad I don't really have Caldari trained though...guess I have motivation to train Caldari now?

As for the Moa redesign, I love it. :) Caldari are the most technically advanced race outside of Jovian space, so I've always been fond of ship designs which emphasized their high-tech, minimalist nature. A ship design can look sexy as **** while still being functional. :)

So-- the dirty secret? Not sure whether it's chicken or egg, but the ATXII prize ships are both on remodeled hulls: Condor and Moa.

Definitely the Egg.  I am guessing the ATXII prizes came first.

They did. THey were using the old hulls up until about a week ago.

Lagging Behind

Morwen's Law:
1) The number of capsuleer women who are bisexual is greater than the number who are lesbian.
2) Most of the former group appear lesbian due to a lack of suitable male partners to go around.
3) The lack of suitable male partners can be summed up in most cases thusly: interested, worth the air they breathe, available; pick two.

Not bad!

Any discussion about what the Mordu ship roles/bonuses/weapons are?

Time for EVE to start introducing a new weapon system anyway.

Kitey missiles with point range bonus.

They're going to be literally the most assholish ships ever made.
Who the fuck thought this was a good idea?

They better be glass fucking cannons.

Bad news guys. You can buffer tank a kitey Mordu ship really easily.

Good news is missiles damage still pretty shite. If you can catch it you have a pretty good shot killing it.

Ran about 55 belts with no luck last night, but at this point, if I did get a BPC drop I would just sell it off for that sweet ISK. Kind of curious where Garmur hull prices will settle in 6 months, might actually hold on to them then.
