Saw article title, expected dev blog on worldbuilding content. Was disappointed.
Read dev blog, not sure. On the one hand, some of these are sorely needed. Changing research and manufacturing slots to behave more like corp offices will be a significant boon, as are the material changes they discussed.
Less on board with the changes to highsec POSes. I understand why they are doing it (with more research slots available, suddenly the reward for grinding that standing for a highsec POS is a lot less valuable). On the other hand, it's basically wiped out the role of the highsec standings sale business, and I dislike seeing niche roles with serious benefits flat out wiped in favor of "lol highsec 'content'". Couldn't they have implemented a sliding fee on highsec POSes instead - anyone can put on up, but charter costs might be prohibitive unless you have good standings?
That, and it was one of the few places where the Big4 could turn to capsuleers and say "Fuckno, not giving our space to you crazies for free. You want to do your business in our space, you either do a lot of favors for us or pay people who do."
