Biography
Corso was born in Caille on Luminaire to a Gallente father and Vherokior mother. His father, Alak, was a staunch patriot and was employed by the federal government in a minor capacity. His mother, Sari, was the daughter of mystic parents killed during the Rebellion. In the chaos of the conflict, she managed to make it to Gallente space and chose to settle on Luminaire to serve in a spiritual role to the diaspora community. She had been living in Caille only a week when serendipity struck and the two met at a Minmatar rally.
Corso spent much of his young life in Caille before his father's position in the government necessitated a temporary assignment to Arcurio on Caldari Prime. Corso spent several years of his late teens living in Arcurio with his family before leaving to study at the prestigious University of Caille, and the jarring differences between Gallente and Caldari Prime likely did much to affect his outlook.
In YC 110, both Alak and Sari were killed during the Caldari reclamation of their homeworld. Almost immediately dropping out of university, Corso volunteered for the capsuleer program, using the minor clout of his heritage and the majority of his inheritance to fast track his application.
The principles instilled in him by his father have made him fiercely patriotic, although his exposure to Caldari society during his time on Caldari Prime have left his political views extremely nuanced, if hawkish. Just as his father dictated his loyalty to the Federation, however, Corso is no less appreciative of his mother's heritage. He is intensely spiritual, and although he is no true mystic, his mother taught him much about her people's ways and teachings, having been subjected to the Voluval ritual as soon as he was of age.
Unlike many, Corso did not become a capsuleer for the opportunity, but for the escape it provided. So far he has been content to drift through space, alone with his thoughts, but as the shock and grief of his sudden change in circumstances begins to wear off, that may change.
