Oddly enough, that sort of thing has probably occurred more in the United States than it ever did in Japan. Especially if you study the more...uh...elitist areas of corporate hierarchies.

...yeah, nope. I don't find world-building with the Caldari to be a problem at all. :P

If you want to see what Caldari megacorporations can be when they are done right, see Shadowrun's Corporate Court circa 2050-2060 :P
