I stumbled onto this forum after clicking through several Evelopedia pages, and after a couple weeks of hardcore lurking decided to make an account.
I played Eve for a couple of months in 2010, but didn't get into much. My brother played off an on for a few years, I heard about it from him and was really drawn to the game's lore and full-loot PVP.
I played quite a bit of UO back in the day-- pre Trammel/Felucca, and have been trying to recapture at least
some of that magic ever since. I spent most of my time in UO dropping trapped chests outside of banks ("PLZ DONT OPEN MY DEED IS IN THERE" *BOOM* OooOOooOooO), provoking dragons on people in Destard, and breaking into houses.
I enjoyed Eve initially, but didn't have the time to really devote myself to it and learn how to play (law school
).
During my last year of school I decided to start up a new account and give it another shot. I bought a couple PLEXes, and have been quietly building up my own little narco-empire ever since. I was still pretty busy with school at the time, and am currently studying for the Bar and interning, so I have really only been doing stuff that doesn't require my absolute attention for long periods of time (e.g., trading, missions, making boosters).
I'd like to get into PVP in the future, although I'm not sure that I'm too interested in big-time territorial stuff or any kind of stand-up fight-- I'd much rather prey on the weak.
I've also started a little corporation, Concordant Sciences, and will be looking for some help
very soon.
I've been working on a backstory for my character and corporation that I'll try to post later this week. In short, Oserik is part of the Eifrald, a ruthless, aristocratic (by Matari standards) Sebiestor clan with ties to the Minmatar underworld. While they generally support the Republic, since the Rebellion they've become quite cosmopolitan, and dislike the freedom-fighting tribal traditionalists who currently rule the Republican roost.
I'm looking forward to meeting and interacting with all of you! Feel free to contact me in-game if you'd like to talk, or if you'd like to order some boosters, although my portfolio and production capacity is rather limited at the moment.
