I think it would be helpful to create a timeline of significant events in EvE RP history, which may be of particular value to newer players (or older players who have impaired memory).  A timeline annotated with things like when corporations were formed, their major operations/wars, leadership successions, etc.

What is the general opinion?

On reflection I thought it may be good to have both, particularly as some groups don't cleanly fit within a faction (possibly label factions with colours on the timeline). Naturally it would be focussing on the significant events.

I would invite people to submit information - please provide a reference about the event if possible (e.g. a forum post or some other evidence)

Operation Deliverance is announced - a CVA project designed to remove the threat of piracy from the systems between Kheram and Misaba. Operation Deliverance later expands to include the Providence region. IGS

PIE Inc and Amarria Auxilia controversially attack a Minmatar gathering in the Pator system. News

The CVA is formally recognised as an alliance, with PIE Inc as its executor corp.

Several Minmatar corps including Masuat'aa Matari, Freelance Unincorporated, Vronsky Brothers & Sons, SMaK Enterprises, Northern Intelligence and The Paratwa Ra unite to form the Ushra'Khan alliance.
