Aloha,
I keep hearing about this place, but haven't had the time to hang up a shingle.
I'm a big proponent of Role Play, although I rarely get to practice it. It's kind of demoralizing how many gamers I'm around every day, but precious few games ever get put on.
I'm an aspiring game dev, and have a BFA to that effect, but the less said about colleges the better... I also have a BA in theater, although ironically it was only through friends who studied other things that I got into RP (and yes, I arrived at that particular party pretty late in life).
EVE wise, I got into it because I was looking at CCP as a place to apply (lolz... cry...) and read a copy of Burning Life, not knowing that everybody knows EVE is a game where RP is stupid and pointless and nobody does it. When I realized I was experiencing a strong emotional reaction to the Tibus Heth story arc, I finished my trial run and input my credit card. Also, Tibus Heth can choke on a Heavy Rocket.
And for what it's worth I'm an assistant producer for an EVE related podcast at flyreckless.com . I've had Soter, Ghost Hunter and CCP Dropbear on as interview guests in recent episodes.
Long Live Intaki.
