Pilot has been affiliated with a number of small pirate skirmishes by the corporation SniggWaffe, however, they were mostly against pirate entities with no collateral damage against legal entities in the area. Pilot has also received many DED acknowledgements for campaigns against Serpentis Corporation. As a result, the Pilot is considered a legally neutral entity, with no bounty placed upon him by any legitimate legal entity.
DED Charges: > Trolling on public fluid router channels (4 counts forum-related, 3 counts channel connection-related, YC118-119)
> Possession of the corpse of a CONCORD Official, Codename Garlakadl
DED Threat Assessment: Severe (Alone),
Extreme (Fleet)Notes: Pilot exhibits
extremely violent behavior against capsuleer-owned assets when in the capsule but a
reluctance to attack non-capsuleers (exception: Serpentis Corporation assets), usually only undocking a registered vessel for
hostile intent against another capsuleer. Pilot has a history of
disrespect for DED/CONCORD initiatives regarding regulation of speech on fluid router channels,
possesses no member state citizenship, and resides outside of CONCORD/DED jurisdiction in Anoikis deep unknown space. As such,
pilot does not consider himself to be under the jurisdiction of CONCORD/DED and is very unlikely to comply with directives. Pilot is also a known force multiplier in fleets,
to be considered extremely dangerous when in the presence of fellow TMPST members. Pilot rarely takes an engagement or gets caught when alone, as such his
threat rating alone is downgraded to Severe. Pilot is known to map and travel networks of wormholes to travel without being tracked or followed.
Despite being clear of any current charges, bounties, or restrictions placed upon him by member states, the Pilot is known to have been trained and associated by nullsec and anoikis entities, where DED/CONCORD has no ability to register and report criminal activity. Pilot is known to regularly attack and destroy neutral vessels within the sphere of influence ('chain' in common capsuleer parlance) of his corporation's home system.Personality Assessment: FOR CONCORD/DED OFFICIAL ACCESS ONLY. [EXPUNGED]Pilot seems to have
issues with the traditionally established central authorities of the CONCORD signatory states, the DED's control over fluid routers, and the Pilot alarmingly falls outside of the technical jurisdiction of CONCORD/DED, which appears to have been an intentional posture. Pilot Galente also was suspected in YC113 of being involved in a mercenary ring which promoted the interests of a
brutal sect of Blood Raiders known as the Bloodveil Cult. Shortly after these rumors arose, the pilot retired into a self-imposed exile to a remote mountain temple on Achura, not emerging for 5 years. After renewing his license, the pilot appeared to have turned a new leaf, spurning the killing of neutral entities, joining an organization nominally dedicated towards being a capsuleer loyalist militia for the DED. However, he left after a week. Asset transportation receipts indicate that the pilot had moved his assets to a system near the Northwest quadrant of the nullsec regions. It would later be discovered that an old capsuleer contact of the pilot, callsign
Johlie, had offered the Pilot a place amongst Pandemic Horde as they conquered a region of nullsec space. Seeing an opportunity to
learn how to become an efficient fighter, and, perhaps, to seek the glory of battle (indicated personality trait from what little we publicly know about him), Jason accepted and lived there, training and fighting, for many months. Pilot later helped establish and lead a satellite entity of the Pandemic Coalition in Anoikis, however it ended in disaster after the entity was removed from this coalition and later destroyed by it in a massive siege of J233255 by its former host coalition.
Events surrounding this incident are our best source of information displaying this pilot's personality traits, and thus, while complicated, must be elaborated upon here for the purpose of demonstrating Pilot Galente's contextual morality in the specific scenario presented.
Records from this time indicate that the pilot showed a
personal concern not only for his displaced capsuleer employees, but also for the estimated 8,000,000 colonists that the corporation had brought in for industrial purposes and civic development. Capsuleer Galente spent a large amount of time, resources, and personal toil ensuring the safety of these colonists, their assets, and his subordinate capsuleers assets,
at the expense of his own fleet being scuttled rather than evacuated, indicating a
lack of purely selfish motivations in his character profiling with a high degree of probability. Combat records from this time, however, indicate that the pilot somehow managed to escape the massacre of the system, despite having been present during the final battle.
One early theory surrounding this is that Jason was actually a spy for 'PanFam' during the attack, but all evidence and testimony from the event suggests that this is unlikely, and the
theory never gained much traction amongst the attackers or defenders. Some speculation is that the pilot arranged a deal with Capsuleer Avaren Dias, the enemy fleet commander, and some evidence suggests that
a deal to spare the colonists and industrial citadels did exist, with no apparent terms due to the simple
respect the two men paid to one another. However, no evidence suggests that the pilot bargained for his escape, and a public kill record suggests that Jason escaped through a wormhole in the system that was somehow missed by the attackers, with the exception of a lone Sabre-class vessel which attempted to interdict Jason but was destroyed.
Later, evidence was uncovered that showed that Capsuleer Galente had turned down multiple offers to betray his CEO during the affair, even though he was singularly culpable for the incident according to the attackers. Also of note,
multiple offers to the pilot were turned down, which would have allowed him to be evacuated if he abandoned the siege defenses, since he was being considered for unrelated contract work with SniggWaffe Corporation just before the attack had begun. It is worth reiterating that the Pilot at this time was not yet officially a member of SniggWaffe, having opted to make the corporation wait until the siege was over, apparently
refusing to abandon his friends at the risk of losing his new job. The Legion-class vessel in which the pilot is suspected to have escaped the system miraculously in, a missile configuration ship named
Ereka (
possible correlation: Ereka Nihil, suspected romantic interest), was never found and is rumored to still be in his possession in system J233658, amongst his former Hole Riders comrades in Tempest Legion. After the siege, pilot briefly joined the well known pirate and mercenary group known as SniggWaffe as promised, with a note in his contract that he was
explicitly joining as a contracted mercenary and not for basic piracy. After a short period of activity striking assigned targets in coordinated fleet operations, his record dies down for roughly a month, shortly after contract records indicate CEO Reza Najafi 'gifting' him an Apostle-class force auxiliary. After this, he was automatically removed from the roster of the corporation, with a manual note placed by a
SniggWaffe director personally welcoming him to return. It is suspected that the Apostle-class was an unofficial contract payment for defined services rendered in combat capacity, records from this time indicating the pilot to have been operating a Machariel-class battleship in his fleets, as well as catching the CEO of a rival pirate organization with an Interceptor-class vessel, much to his employer's great chagrin. Others stated, perhaps in an attempt at capsuleer humor, that
Commander Najafi had given the man the capital ship because he sang and played the ukelele for the Yoiul festival.
Pilot seems to have a
bond with many of his former subordinates and shortly thereafter, joined his current corporation to return to his old brothers in arms whom had rebuilt their personal fortunes with their former allies, Tempest Legion (interestingly enough, at Jason's suggestion, despite the fact that Jason himself did not follow them there). That brings us roughly up to date as of the date of this profiling.[/spoiler]
From this examination of the pilot's recent history, Pilot can be shown to be selfless to those he is responsible to and has authority over. Pilot seems romantically involved with another capsuleer. Pilot fights seemingly for sport, however, will always propose an arrangement to limit the suffering of noncombatants when offered the opportunity. And the pilot demonstrates a sense of honor and loyalty, even when offered a way out of hopeless situations. Possessing neither citizenship nor history with or reliance on DED mechanisms, nor CONCORD-taxable revenue, as well as deep Anoikis space residency, and a strong historical tendency towards associating only with other extra-legal paramilitary capsuleer organizations, he tends to fall outside of CONCORD/DED jurisdiction, with the exception of fluid router access and a series of infrequent and sporadic Jita shopping sprees.
Physical Assessment: Pilot is considered of advanced height, muscle density, and has a history of mixed martial arts and Muay kickboxing training. Pilot is rumored to have participated extensively in remote cagefighting blood sport tournaments before becoming a capsuleer. Pilot also has a record of using
hidden bodyguards, CQC small arms, and hidden knives. Despite this preparation,
pilot seems to take strong measures to avoid any and all contact outside of the pod except with known, trusted entities, having perhaps lost a degree of physical self confidence after a severe training accident with a former DUST operative in late YC118 resulted in the
loss of his left eye.
Approach with extreme caution and discretion.
