Hey folks,
I've been lurking on this forum for a while now, and some topics just made me want to respond to them, so I finally decided to head backstage.
I usually spend more than 95% of my time in EVE IC, even when around non-RP folk (and usually they don't even notice it
).
Anyway, I like Elite and games like it such as Frontier and Freelancer, so when I read an article about EVE 5 years ago, I could not resist subscribing (after reading about the game (live events? wow!
) and all the chronicles for a month), and I have been subscribed since, although I've stopped playing sometimes, mostly after the dream of Incarna shattered and the Sub-warp Racing Venture went inactive. But hey, it's hard to cancel a subscription if you buy one-year chunks.
I've been roleplaying for about 13 years now, mostly in the old White Wolf WoD setting, but as mine and my friends agendas filled up so much that it was too hard to keep chronicles going, I'm glad that I can turn to the ~24/7 New Eden cluster to get my fix.
Well, that's it for now, I suppose. Only thing to add is that I think EVE has a wonderful, interesting and diverse RP community. Thank you for playing!
Clear skies,
-Ché
