A vigil ceasefire
« on: 14 Nov 2015, 22:14 »

Evening.

i don't post here quite often, and I actually had to go to retrieve my password to be able to post back at backstage. However.

On Sunday (tomorrow), one hour before downtime, Stillwater will refrain  from undocking and killing ships in their sovereign space in an hour of silence for the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.

If you're feeling your corp should take a minute as well, just post here given your contribution, if you feel like it. I won't ask you to contact me or any of my corp's representatives because peace and security should be its own merit.

That is very well intentioned and nice to hear.

Please keep in mind that I have already seen that happening live on FF14 as well in the night of the event, and the event got almost immediately spoiled by idiots and political trolls. It may have remained pretty tame because well, there are limits, but be ready to expect them.

Staying docked is kind of hard to mess with.

In local? Why would being docked or undocked matter on chat channels?

Why would local chat matter? It's cancer no matter where you are or what you do. There's a reason it's hidden behind a channel stack, only the memberlist peeking out for intel purposes, on my clients.

Honestly I doubt anyone will care enough about 15 people staying docked for an hour in a quiet corner of Amarr lowsec to even consider harassing them.  Most people probably won't even notice.
