A very Minmatar sort of film. Right down to the prosthetics. You could drop the warboys and the whole shiny & chrome meme into Matari society & it would fit right in.

Saw it, loved it. Especially liked the fight when Max first runs into Furiosa.

I was impressed by the amount of character development that was crammed into an action film. I wish other film makers would take note.

PLOT TWIST

Fury Road takes place on Matar after the Eve Gate collapse.

I am imagining a blind Brutor strapped to a Sleipnir, wielding an electric guitar. His job is to play rustcore, which is broadcast to the rest of the Matari fleet to inspire them.

That or it's just a documentary about Aussies getting lost in the outback.

But yeah, this is the most batfuck Minmatar movie I've ever seen and I fuckin' loved every minute of it. It's like a good old Vagabond, starting off at crazy speeds and then just fuckin' accelerating until something ends.

This is me trying to win the thread in overtime, showing myself as I went to see the movie.

Witness me!

I watched it the other night where I coulnd't sleep (thanks Seraphim for the voucher). I really liked it though. It delivered exactly what I expected: Madness and explosions.
