After 44 years of unbroken Conservative rule, my little province in Canada voted in the NDP for the first time. It was an interesting switch, to say the least.

On the other side of the world in dear old Blighty, I was commiserating with my Father that he didn't really have ANY good choices in the upcoming election, but in the event the UK achieved the exact opposite, returning Davey-boy with a working majority. :(

My fellow youth and I are not very happy about this.

We are however happy that UKIP got told they could suck it.

All we had to do was put our Xs in the right boxes...

How did we fail so epically?!

I'm very happy for the SNP. As a Plaid Cymru member I must admit, I'm envious of their position.
