Unmaintained stickies

Unmaintained stickies are obsolete and unhelpful.

Any suggestions for improvement ?

+1'ing in the sticky saying "this is out of date" further adds to the uselessness of the thread. They need updated and pruned back, so that there is not 11 pages of "can I add X to the list" and "Y is out of date".
