Gentlemen and ladies,

Whilst I remain in what is likely to be permanent retirement, the Ammatar cause remains dear in our memory.

I've started this thread to develop a repository of material and ideas to, perhaps, help inspire others to one day raise a corp under the Ammatar cause.

I'll submit matter at the odd interval.

Denique Ammataria, what.

Part of many influences of the previous Ammatar movement (Delictum 23216, Ammatar Free Corps)

The German Democratic Republic

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Germany
(Manifested in the period of socialist, bureaucratic, paranoid and demagogic style of running the corporation, including decisions where shopping in Rens was banned and people would be executed 'in case' they were spies)

Freikorps (post WW1)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freikorps

(This manifested in the post-elders assault on the Glorious Ammatar state.  Motivated the Ammatars to form the Ammatar Free Corps and involve themselves in the 'counter-revolution' against turncoats in the state who sided with the tribals)

The Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_East_Asia_Co-Prosperity_Sphere
(This was an influence on the attitudes of the Ammatars towards other tribals, that the Ammatars were guiding hands to the other tribes.  If permitted to work together with the Ammatars at the helm, it would be a model for great co-prosperity and re-establishment of the proper order of the tribes.  This view was very popular during the times of success during the factional wars, as to what to do with newly captured land.  It was also a view held towards Molden heath, which you can see below)

Irredentism

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irredentism

References to this in practice:
http://community.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=435652

(The classical attitude of the Ammatar towards the 'Republic'.  Ammatar forums enforced these quite strictly for a while.  Built-in auto-replace caused usage of the word 'Republic' to automatically be replaced with terra irridente, and 'Minmatar' with Rebellious Heathen)

Came to look for some information on the Ammatar. Good to see there is still some interest in Ammatar RP. :D
One good motivator is FW these days.  Too bad Derelik is not directly involved but Devoid lowsec is just a couple of jumps out and with Nulli Secunda opening a second front the Amarr cause is on the move again.
What about regrouping the remaining Ammatar corps? Have they actually ever worked together?
To go back to your inspiration, what about the Gallo-Romans? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gallo-Roman_culture

Thanks for the feedback.  If you're interested in the Ammatar, you may be interested in this thread:

I'm not sure if there are any remaining active Ammatar corps.  As far as I was aware, the last active Ammatar corp, the Ammatar Free Corps, became inactive in 2011.  Previous Ammatar corporations and smaller cooperative Ammatar corporations (which behaved like satellites) were closely associated.

Thanks for the info, lot available.  Too bad Ammatar RP is on a low flame.  Like I said FW might be a way.  I just wonder why Derelik lowsec was not included, maybe as simple as having no connection to Minnie FW lowsec but then they just should make Molden Heath FW as well.  There should be epic fights for Fort Kumar ftw  8)
