I mostly like the new skins and models, especially the Prowler. I don't have a lot to say about oxidation in space except that it's now part of the expected look for Winmatar and a large part of why some people love it. Also, I like the tribal symbols more than the corporate symbols, at least for the Matar. No real opinion on the issues surrounding the Amarrian ships.

Not a fan of putting camo on ships at all, and so the new Nomad makes me annoyed.

Oh, I'm somewhat of a fan of the fact that the Fed/Republic camo scheme are pretty damned similar :yar:

Don't want to be shooting each other on the planetary battlefield, I'm guessing.

I don't like the new skins. Could care less about what is 'proper' or not.

Old Minmatar designs have (to me) more heart/more character/more identity than the current ones.

They look like the Amarr built them from original Matari designs.

The previous two posts strike me as projection rather than recognizing that the same actual designers did all the ships. :)

Just an aside on the use of House emblems rather than Corp emblems on Amarr ships: I believe they mentioned at fanfest at that some V3'ed icons may be placeholders initially, because some T2 hulls may switch manufacturers in the near future.

The reason hulls may change manufacturers is so that a given corporation has all hulls which line up to a specific role in the planned ship rebalancing; i.e., Viziam would have all brawler-type hulls, Carthum would have all bombardment hulls, Khanid would have all EWAR, etc (these are just off-the-cuff examples, NOT associations I know to be accurate in any way).

I like the implications of Gallentians being punched in the face by walking up to a Minmatar as they so freely use another person's culture as a fad.

Quote from: Inferno 1.1 patch notes
The Carthum Conglomerate, Viziam and Khanid Innovation manufacturer logos have been applied to the appropriate Amarr ships.

There are new minnie shaders? Next you'll be telling me they've upgraded the turret animations or something...

:p

Seriously though, the only time I'm zoomed in far enough to see my ship is when I'm docked. Do other people actually fly with the camera zoomed in enough to see their ship?

Enough in hangar to see it, yes. Or at the undock sometimes, and often in some cases of pve when you have nothing else to do. I enjoy playing with my camera.
