I always assumed pod pilots would put on a pod suit for actual flight, so they wouldn't be wearing their clothes in pods anyway... I don't think it works any other way.

Plus, pod suits must come like, 12 to a pack or summin'. Kind of like moist towels or condoms.

"Aw, hell, got podded again... ah well, got 9 suits left in this pack anyway."
