Some Background:
 Perramas being genetically engineered in a laboratory has no known parents or relatives. He was a test tube baby created and raised by the Caldari State to serve the Caldari State. Perramas' upbringing was loveless, stern and very ordered and regimented. He spent the first ten years of his life in a state run orphanage where his early education and life was planned out in the minutest detail. Perramas caused no problems and was a good student and an average learner. He recieved the finest education in the sciences and math. During his upbringing and education Perramas was never exposed to Religion, faith, music or art.

 It was decided based on Perramas' physical and mental aptitude that he would be enrolled into training for the military. The next eight years was spent in a series of state run military schools training and conditioning his body. At eighteen he was retested and based on a range of test scores for mental and physical aptitude Perramas was enrolled in training for covert operations and reconnaissance.
 
 After two years of intensive training Perramas was ready and willing to serve the Caldari State. Perramas spent the next twelve years
serving in various spec ops units, never failing a mission. At the age of twenty-six on one mission to find and rescue some high ranking Amarrians family from Minmatar terrorist Perramas was exposed to an unquestioning faith in God in the form of an Amarrian soldier. At the time Perramas could not understand this soldiers willingness to die, not for the Amarr State, his charges or property but his God. After this Perramas become interested in learning more about faith and God.

 At thirty years old Perramas was ordered to undergo a psychological and behavioral evaluation. A transport vessel carrying Perrams and hundreds of other soldiers was nearly destroyed by enemy fire. Perramas was unhurt but dozens of others were dead or dying. Perramas was observed by several others going to the mortally wounded and asking them "What do you see?","You must tell me what you see?" as the light left their eyes.

 When Perramas was thirty two years old it came to light that a gallente agent on the station Perrams was created in had been in charge of the gene testing for pod pilots. The agent was tasked with hiding potential pod pilots from the Caldari State by changing their test results. As a result Perramas was retested and found to have the necessary gene.

 After four years of training and surgery to add cybernetic augmentations at the age of thirty-five Perramas became a pod pilot. With the freedom and ability to determine his fate Perramas resigned his commission in the military and set out to find his true self.

Six years have passed and at the age of forty-one Perramas is still searching for his true self and his place among the stars.
