My recollection is that some flat-out left, some others went to help the Amarr militia and left the gates unbarred and unguarded, but not really an exodus. But that's just what I remember.

Also, didn't CCP implement some changes to the occupancy mechanisms around that time? I think those were perceived in some quarters are a nerf/tantamount to a reset. Could easily be misremembering some other event though.

I'm tempted to necro every thread on IGS where people were told they were doin it wrong because ~There is no ground combat in FW!!!111!!~
