Odd Login Problems (SMF, not just Backstage?)

Been having trouble logging into Backstage and assorted other SMF-based forums of late. Recently picked up a new laptop, but I've been on the network w/ a different laptop and have not had any issues:

Basically I get stuck at the login redirect. I get a blank screen that never resolves. This happens across 3 different browsers (Chrome, FF 4 Beta and Whatever version of IE I have) but works through a web proxy and, strangely enough, the IGB. I get exactly the same issue when trying to log into AI corp forums, which are also SMF.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? I'm flummoxed.
