A little game, if a movie was made for Eve.
We already had a few short topics about an EVE-movie on the official EVE forum * (http://eve-search.com/thread/1513620-0). So I though it is maybe time to start a thread here about this topic. first of course the NPCs (http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Category:NPCs). I maybe thought about a mini-series... or a trilogie :lol: How knows, what we come up.
So first of course the cast?
- Director: I could think about Brett Ratner (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brett_Ratner) as Director. He is on the which list of the new Star Wars movie already. So maybe John Moore (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Moore_%28director%29) or Alexandre Aja (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexandre_Aja)? What you guys think?
- Screenwriter: As Screenwriter of course the CCP team and maybe some Hollywood assistants like: Carl Ellsworth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Ellsworth), Josh Stolberg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Stolberg)
- Producer: Maybe Michael De Luca (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_De_Luca)? A dream come true would be the producer team of Silent Hill Revelation; as it was also a game movie. So first choice must be: Samuel Hadida, Don Carmody.
- Screenwriter: As Screenwriter of course the CCP team and maybe some Hollywood assistants like: Carl Ellsworth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Ellsworth), Josh Stolberg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Stolberg)
- Cinematographer: As camera director (cinematographer) and art director: Kevin Smith (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Smith) and David Tattersall (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Tattersall). I think they would be great, as knowledge of lens and filters are totally overrated.
Then of course the cast?

I let them open (the main characters above), so that we can start a debate here in this thread, who could play which NPC. My Idea would be Kristen Stewart (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kristen_Stewart) would play Jamyl, Robert Pattinson as Falek Grange and maybe Taylor Lautner as Marcus.
About Otro I already have an idea:
- Otro Gariushi (http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Otro_Gariushi): The most important thing, what we all remember is the action scene in Malkalen, which leads to his dead. Even a WHOLE trailer is around this action topic: See here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSHdIsIOrsc&list=PLF614A7A6461E61E1). So I think it shouldnt be Daniel Day-Lewis.... this a character actor, BUT it most be a action star. Star in big letters: STAR. As this scene is so crucial in the book as well, I could see a whole action scene around it. Like: Camera on...set, action: Camera on the Broker and Otro; how they debate.... succeed by Otro seeing that Nyx crashing into the station.---- Bammmmm, Boooommm.... I can only see one guy which can do this role: The Rock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwayne_Johnson).

I have to disagree with you. The Rock is too young. We need someone older and wiser looking... like Jeff Bridges (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Bridges), shaved bald of course. He's a big guy when he wants to be in a movie (think Obadiah Stane in Ion Man)

I was going to suggest Joss Whedon as director.
As far as Gariushi goes, I agree with Katrina. I was thinking someone along the lines of John Malkovich, but Jeff Bridges would be a fine choice as well!
Going with the trend of people starting with the letter "J", can I suggest John Hurt as Heideran VII? Breaking with the "J" thing, I think Emma Thompson (with dyed hair) would make a fabulous Karin Midular. Aritcio Kor-Azor is supposed to be younger, but I keep thinking Edward Norton for him...

First the action part was BS from me. What has he to do? Standing and standing.... there is action yes. But not in the sense of the action by the actor. So as none troll answer about Jeff Bridges. Yes he could play it (of course also Daniel Day-Lewis).
