clothes and accessories.
But you have to pay.
http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1547792&page=1#14
current theme "military", coming Soon™ "cyberpunk" and "corporate"
-
If that's their military theme, then, shit...
Where's our Gallente militia outfits? Our Caldari militia outfits? Minmatar? Amarr?
It's still too damn much, for god's sake. I'll be sticking with the t-shirts for a while then.
-
Still looks blah to me. Maybe the cyberpunk will have something interesting.
-
the caldari cyber-parrot things maybe.
Anyway, I suspect that many of the things that used to exist, like the Amarr antler hairdo things, or the Gallente windshields, and all that, may make a return in the Aurum shop.
Enjoy. :ugh:

Ooooh, stuff is out (http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1547792&page=3#75):
We added some new items to the store just now during downtime. May I draw your attention to the "Nightstalker" goggles for 1500 Aurum?
-
I continue to be underwhelmed.
Apart from my disinterest I wonder why anyone would by the clothes?
A "Deluxe" tier set would cost over 250$ (Price calc from http://failheap-challenge.com/showthread.php?2791-DEVBLOG-nex-retail-pricing-strategy&p=143658&viewfull=1#post143658" )
At a plex price of 385mil ISK it'd cost the buyer 5.775 billion ISK for a whole outfit. This provided someone bought and resold a set of course.
The real kicker is that the only one being able to see it would be me for the forseeable future.
At least the monocle was visible somewhere.
-
It takes a lot more work to be able to make a system where the players can make the goods. We will do it. We want that very much. But it's going to take time. All of these goods are going to be a lot more fun if they are being made by players.
Most important post in the thread.

single run blueprints, eventually, eh ?
-
That would be my wild baseless guess.
-
I can't imagine anything that personally interests me less in EVE than making clothes.
YMMV, obviously. :)
-
Nor I. But if I can sell polytextiles to the ones that do...
-
the richest deposits of stylite and fashionium will be in 0.0 , and you will require a t2 mining frigate to harvest them.
leading to moar wars and stuffz.
-
Begun, the Stylite wars have.
-
Meh. Wanting to see some racial distinction, but not sure how well that's going to work when CCP indefinitely cleaves to that T/PEGI-16 rating. :psyccp:
-
Can anyone post up the new NEx pricing?
-
New NEX pricing:
"Looking Glass" Ocular implant (right/gold) = 12,000 AUR / 3.4 PLEX / 1.29B ISK
GDN-9 "Nightstalker" combat goggles = 1,500 AUR / 0.43 PLEX / 163m ISK
Men's "Precision" Boots = 1,000 AUR / 0.28 PLEX/ 109m ISK
Men's "Dub Lockstep" Boots = 1,750 AUR / 0.5 PLEX / 190m
Woman's "Greave" Knee-Boots = 2,400 AUR / 0.69 PLEX / 261m
Men's "Sterling" Dress Shirt (dust) = 1,750 AUR / 0.5 PLEX / 190m

Women's "Sterling" Dress Blouse (dust) = 1,750 AUR / 0.5 PLEX / 190m
Women's "Sterling" Dress Blouse (platinum) = 2,900 AUR / 0.83 PLEX / 315
Women's "Sterling" Dress Blouse (navy) = 4,400 AUR / 1.26 PLEX / 479m
Men's "Commando" Pants (black wax) = 3,000 AUR / 0.86 PLEX / 327m

ISK prices are based on 1 PLEX = 3,500 AUR, 1 PLEX = 380m, and a 0% markup.
-
...okay that's better, anyway. I hear the goggles look like welding equipment, need to check those out tonight.
-
what prices changed ?
-
So, it's a badly designed outfit, that's been turned into multiple tiers of payment, with pricing exceeding 3 PLEX.
I was really looking forward to coming back soonish...
-
Hmm, the nightstalkers are hardly new, they've been on sisi for a while now. On the other hand, they don't look that bad if you like the spec ops look. I do wish you could push them back on your head or something.
Another thing, am I missing something about how this works, because from what people keep saying, they seem to think that the only way someone with isk will get these will be for someone with PLEX to buy them and then sell them. But I can still buy PLEX with isk and them convert that PLEX into AUR and then buy things with it, right? So why does anyone need a middle man?

So you won't end up with a bunch of leftover Aurum just sitting around in your wallet.
-
You do not need the middle man, Saikoyu. The prices of cloth will always be strict connected with the price of PLEX as long no other items are needed.
-
And it will *always* be cheaper to buy the plex and convert it yourself. Always.
-
Not true. Setting aside the chance of ending up with Aurum you can't use and the fact that people can be pretty dumb when it comes to undercutting, somebody might place a sell order prior to a PLEX price spike.
-
Remember that the new marketing initiative is essentially "community feedback for Aurum," so the "cost" of these items may be lower for participants in that scheme. I mean, I think they're ridiculously overpriced still, but we'll wait and see.
-
1 PLEX = 380m
Maby you... :psyccp:
-
I'm glad they all look crap. No urge to spend moneyz.
