FACTS
Amarr Emperor Damius III Khanid, invaded and conquered the Minmatar people.
King Khanid II split from the Empire when Emperor Heideran VII came to the throne.
Emperor Heideran VII promoted peace and reconciliation, as did Emperor Doriam II Kor-Azor.
Dochuta Karsoth was Heideran's chamberlain, and later Doriam's as well. Karsoth was also a Blood Raider agent, and supposedly many of the Republic's officials were agents of Karsoth.
The Khanid Kingdom has some connection with the Blood Raiders, as evidenced by the design of the RKN police frigates, and the Covenant's Cruor frigate.
The Covenant is rumoured to use mass-cloning technology.
Amarrians write everything down.
Empress Jamyl allowed the Kingdom to re-enter the Empire.
Empress Catiz was an extremely rich woman prior to becoming Empress.
Maleatu Shakor was present at the coronation of Empress Catiz.
Nobody has been to the Elder's supposed sanctuaries in the Great Wildlands, except on an Elder ship.
The pieces of the puzzle fit.
300 years ago, King Khanid split from the Empire, and has spent that time plotting to regain the chance to become Emperor. When the Minmatar Rebellion happened, Emperor Heideran acted with compassion and allowed the Republic to live in a form of peace. King Khanid saw this as an opportunity, and has for the past 120 years, been scheming to use the Minmatar as a pawn to become Emperor.
King Khanid made a deal with Catiz Tash-Murkon, that he would assist in making her Empress, giving the Khanid access to a great deal of funding. Funding that was used by King Khanid to assist Karsoth's infiltration of the Republic government.
The Elder Fleet was constructed by the Khanid, using funds from Tash-Murkon, and funds diverted by Karsoth's agents from the Federal aid package. When the time was right, King Khanid used the Elder Fleet to raid the Amarr Empire, with the objective of retrieving the Starkmanir Tribe populations from the Mandate. The continued existence of the Starkmanir, outside of the Empire space, would embarrass House Ardishapur, with whom House Khanid had a long-standing dispute.
King Khanid then used the surprise reappearance of Jamyl Sarum to further the scheme. By betraying all of Karsoth's network of agents, facilitated by the Amarrian habit of writing everything down, which provided the "evidence" planted on each body, King Khanid ensured that the Republic would be in turmoil and unable to seriously oppose Jamyl during the establishment of her administration. In reward, Empress Jamyl allowed the Khanid back into Amarr.
And then in time, King Khanid returned the favour to Empress Catiz when she ascended to the throne.
Maleatu Shakor's role in all of this, was to keep the Republic in turmoil long enough, and was fed the true information that King Khanid was behind Karsoth's network. He was invited to the coronation of Empress Catiz, to witness the death of King Khanid II, and believe that with that, the Karsoth network was finally destroyed.
Thus the entire Elder incident, was a scheme by King Khanid, to embarrass the Ardishapurs, re-enter the Empire, and have a chance at becoming Emperor.
