Title - Rescued

Terror

Terror gripped my bosom, as I heard
The sound of scraping metal, to be honed
Echoing off the walls in the dark
The screams of the little ones, afraid and alone

Fear gripped my heart, as I observed
Blood trickling down my little sister's arms
Her arteries had been jaggedly severed
Dripping off the rusty table

These beasts of men reveled in their power
Their blades raw from the gore
Consuming lives as such they devoured
Ending them, forevermore

We, who had been slaves before
Our holder who had been killed
By the very same monsters before me
So mad, so skilled

Near a thousand of us there had been
Now just over half remained
Drained by Sani Sabik, for their pleasure
Slowly and painful, lives claimed
At their leisure

There had been so much death
I was afraid none would escape
That we would not leave, this awful place
Amid the screams in the night

But we were not abandoned
A Platoon of the righteous burst in
Lasers and pulsing blasts
Bringing justice to sin

The Heretics raged and fought, but to no avail
For the trained servants of God, were too strong

All the evil men in that place
Who worshiped their Red God
That night, they all met the real one

Before long
