Morwen's Law:
1) The number of capsuleer women who are bisexual is greater than the number who are lesbian.
2) Most of the former group appear lesbian due to a lack of suitable male partners to go around.
3) The lack of suitable male partners can be summed up in most cases thusly: interested, worth the air they breathe, available; pick two.

On the one hand, driving to work when there's almost no one else on the road is somewhat less stressful than dealing with rush hour traffic on the DC beltway.

On the other hand, there's a reason there's no one else on the road, and my office's insistance on staying open for anything less than 8" of snow is... bothersome.

Indeed, I am fortunate I did not have to work today. My company closes for no weather, literally. If there was a hurricane, they would request you come into work. Refusing to arrive due to weather is considered the same as calling in sick.

What do you do when you are sick then?

Summon benevolent spirits ?

You are typically given a written warning or some other disciplinary measure, if the on duty foreman feels like it. It is largely up to their discretion.

So yes, summon benevolent spirits.

Again! All of campus shut down due to ice. Woe is me. I shall never get my meeting with the dean at this rate.

You can send some of your winter to Holland. We've barely had any this winter.

Yesterday, it was 60-70ºF in the mid-atlantic (washington DC area)

Today it is 25ºF with a high of 35.

This winter. It is fucked up.

All the yes's. We've had a thirty+ degree shift in two days in my area, as well.
