That Saxon Hawke has the inscription "A man travels the universe in search of what he needs and returns home to find it." added near the entry port of every ship he purchases?

Dem Supers
« on: 08 Jul 2013, 11:39 »

PL losing ten supers in one go, along with the first Revenent to be destroyed.  Mega aloe vera needed to balm those burns.

Something like 450 billion destroyed.

PL have a reputation for dropping sort of 'uncontestable' super fleets on top of lone unsuspecting capitals so this was bound to happen eventually.

"Actually, like, everyone log in their supers and self-destruct at the same time? We'll become like a lowsec roaming alliance, it'll be awesome."

Audio:

Much love to the good sports on there who aren't ragefacing. "Let's go play Chivalry!"

"We lost like 50bil a minute! That's a record you guys should be stoked"

I can't stop laughing at the audio. It sounds like many teamspeaks I've been on after derping.

I have never heard a man as upset about internet spaceships as he was in those logs. People with srsbsns experience, is this normal?

I like the implications of Gallentians being punched in the face by walking up to a Minmatar as they so freely use another person's culture as a fad.

400-500 billion destroyed in a single short engagement after being lured into a trap is not normal.

But a good cross-section of reactions. Some people shrug shoulders and laugh others rage hard.

...okay, let me rephrase: In a lot of recordings of super fleets being whelped, I've never seen someone become that frothingly enraged.

It's Grath Telkin, the most infamously angry person in Eve. He is always like that. If you ever want a laugh,  check out his forum posting on Kugu and Failheap.

Grath isn't mad, he just hasn't learnt how to communicate with others via more than one medium.

Hilarious comms. Also I noticed a former RPer from KotMC, Major JSilva mentioned. Would be interesting to hear from him about it.

Jsilva was asking last night in one of the community channels if anyone wanted to sell him a new supercap.
