Why are they encouraging people to start additional accounts now that dual-character training is a thing?
Why is it beneficial for the player?
Scouts, cynos, mission salvage (if still done? Haven't missioned since the noctis), OGB (getting nerfed soon, thankfully), and of course dual-boxing (or more).
Why is it beneficial for CCP? Because if you stop paying, you lose access to that character, while a dual-trained char on your main is always there. Meaning you're more likely to fork out more for the extra account. Meanwhile, dual training gets people who didn't want a whole new account just for PI/hauling to spend a little extra cash up front to get more bang for their $15/month down the line.
Unless this is tempting you to get another account, I don't get it.
