Judi Dench as Safai almost for sure. Except instead of such a charming old British actress, she's ... well ...

Secondary pick is Sara Kestelman, who voiced Kreia in KOTOR2 and also as the orange toga-wearing immortal in Zardoz. ZARDOZ! Classic.

Omg Kreia.

Anyone know of any actors who could do Saede you think?

Maybe Camilla Luddington ? In the last Tomb Raider she sounds completely tomboyish with some thick accent.

Bear with me here.

Imagine someone from one of the Baltic states, with a very thick accent and lots of consonant stress, especially trilling them "r's", speaking Arabic.

Got it?

Yeah. That's Ava when she speaks Amarish, which is most of the time. When she speaks Sebiestor? Just imagine a woman from the above place, speaking their native language, with lots of emotion and emphasis. Yeah. That's Ava when she speaks Sebbie.

I get the feeling that how we picture Halete and Ava sounding are very alike. That's interesting.

Damien Caine
Click on the Marauder Intro's play symbol for sound bite.

Arturo Ramirez generally speaks like a Brutor but has some vocal idiosyncrasies that are more in line with the Nefanter (assuming the two are different).

Yay I finally found Kor's voice! :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIVytV5258A

Even the character's personality is similar to Kor's, being all enigma-ish and whatnot :)

Kor is Batman (Kevin Conroy) in my head, but that's close enough.

I have no idea, but it'd be someone with a Persian or Arabic accent. I'm open to suggestions.

Speaking of Batman, I hear Samira as Talia (Marion Cotillard ).

That's interesting. I've had her sounding like Fever Ray (Karin Dreijer Andersson) in my head.

On a personal note, I've always imagined Ava Starfire as having the voice of Valravn's singer. In fact, if ever I imagine Ava singing, I imagine it sounding exactly like this.

Conjecture about other peoples' character voice acting makes it a lot more interesting, in my opinion.
