That would be a different sort of breaking of character. I would need to have reasons for not participating in certain activities, or doing them differently.
For example, he would not fly less advanced ships because he values his crew more than ISK.
He would not suddenly decide "Hey, these rescues I'm doing are going so well, I'm bored. Let's make it a bit more exciting by not using the best equipment available." Stopping rescue patrols is :ugh:, it's one of the few things that still gives him some sense of self-esteem. I mean, I could go this way, but I've enjoyed Ché starting to move out of the dark place he was in last year, and I don't really want him to start heading back in there just yet.

...This is probably a moot point, but what kind of space activities would reveal he's an alpha, apart from the downgrading I mentioned above?

Mostly pvp due to the fits and evidence on killmails if you lose a ship I think?

Oh, right. Well, while I've been quite lucky so far, I can't really even travel around without running the risk of being destroyed, even if I did not live in Anoikis.
