Seriously some of the best music I've heard has been made by bronies or Touhou fans. It's a little bizzare.

One of the best covers I've ever heard
American Authors are pretty unknown (:hipster:), but they don't have a single song I dislike.
Apart from that, Frank Turner and London Grammar are pretty high on my playlist, swiftly followed by the new Fall Out Boy and Paramore albums.
