Ihsam whatshisface showed up representing the Imperial Navy, which I thought was surprising. Remember folks, they aren't flagged for CONCORD police responses despite the warning box!

I will say though the combat experience really did show me that Nosferatu do absolute crap these days. Even with a talisman set lol

There are actually certain circumstances where they can be useful. If you know you're going to be in nos range, and you have a cap-intensive setup, for example. Anyway, back to the topic at hand...

Lirsautton V(5) = A little over 2 million

No exact hard number on this one, due to some interesting data. The last solid number I saw was around 1.9 million, but Lillith made the remark that Heavenbound was updating previous totals instead of adding to the overall total. I'm not sure which one to refer to, one has a figure of little over 2 million and the other would have today around 4-5 million people taken.

Past experience makes me think it's the 4-5 million range using the old method from other events, but I could be wrong.

This event was pretty neat since the locals were quite ambivalent with our presence. Weren't quite satisfied with us, but didn't immediately try to shoot. We even got to play riddles before someone shot one of Heavenbound's pastries.

Two events today, one at Odatrik (Planets 5, 6, 9) ...

Odatrik was the first event that's happened while I've been online and closer than 20 jumps away, thus my first encounter.

Are they usually that disorganised?

Is there actually any relation between how effective the response is and how many people get assimilated?
