Katrina Oniseki:
This is a thread to show off the unique, exotic, customized, expensive, or expansive homes or locations of your ultra rich capsuleers. Post your 'crib' in a quote box, or in italics or something so it's easier to read. :3

--- Quote from: Katrina's Estate ---New Caldari V (Oniteseru), Osmon Mountainrange
Private Estate of Katrina Oniseki
4,000ft (1220m) above sea level ...  2°F (-16°C) outside the barrier fields

The landing pad guests arrive on is built onto a rock outcropping, dusted with snow and whipped by the mountain winds. Though the surrounding atmosphere outside the protective barrier fields is extreme, the platform only endures tempuratures slightly below freezing. The heated tarmac prevents ice buildup, and there is plenty of lighting to guide guests to the former monastery.

Automated gatling rail turrets scan the skies, and squads of Arctic Warfare Marines bearing the I-RED logo patrol the grounds. Security is both assertive and tight. Before approaching the main entrance all visitors would be ID'd by a large Achuran man by the callsign of "King", apparently the head of security.

Inside, a second set of barrier fields keeps back the remaining cold, leaving the interior of the house a comfortable 65°F (18°C). The upper part of the house is fairly sparse, with hardwood floors, traditional Deteis artwork and ornate Civire rugs. Modern amenities are not readily visible here, but are present, usually in a hidden form of one way or another. There are plenty of rooms, most like the last with only changing decoration. Several guest rooms exist with plush and comfortable beds and empty dressers to store clothing.

In the main hall, a blazing fireplace is kept lit at all times, occasionally fed with actual wood that gives the room the scent of a real wood fire. In front of this fireplace rests a massive circular mattress sunken into a matching pit in the floor. It is lined with pillows of all shapes and sizes, and dressed with plenty of blankets. A steady ambient meditative music and the smell of lightly scented candles fills the air, and ample seating provides plenty of places to relax. Various holographic imagery gives soft light to the room in the form of fluttering white songbirds. A fully stocked tea bar is nearby, with literally almost every type of traditional and contemporary Caldari tea available.

In the main tower of the former monastery, there is a private room at the top for Katrina to stay in, one of two in the whole Estate. Unlike the other, it's rather exposed to the outside. A large bed dressed in warm fur and cotton covers dominates the room, along with a dresser, desk, and other decor.

The scarcity of objects one might expect in a home gives hint to the existence of the lower levels, which house a majority of the estate under the mountain.

Underneath the former monastery lays a sprawling complex dug directly into the solid rock of the mountain. Built only in a few weeks, the complex is an easy reminder of the Caldari skill in building and mining. With solid titanium metal floors, ample blue-white lighting, full climate control, and even aesthetically exposed rock walls in some areas, it leaves no doubt to the mind that this is an underground home.

The rooms are plenty and spacious, offered for many various uses. Some of the areas serve entertainment such as a billiards room, gym & weights, full size swimming pool, ball court, and even a home holotheater. Other rooms house staff and supply the complex; such as an armory, barracks, medical bay, firing range, buffet style cafeteria (stocked with very high quality foods), and an underground hangar with launch tubes. For Katrina, there is of course a private kitchen, bath, and bedroom, though nobody but her may access that part of the complex without being invited.

A full security detail patrols the complex along with paid staff to maintain the facility. A doctor heads up the medbay, trained to treat Capsuleers. A full team of chefs regularly cook for the massive buffet, serving delicacies and common food alike from around the cluster. Various AI-bots fill in some of the lesser desired positions such as custodial duties. The whole complex above and below is powered by a frigate grade aneutronic fusion reactor, with a fully self sufficient air and water purification system. Most of the lowest level, besides the reactor and water processing plant, is simply a collection of storage rooms for frozen and refrigerated foodstuffs, dry goods, bulk supplies, fuel, and spare parts.

Kat's home. Takes up two channels for the surface level and underground level.

--- Quote from: Katrina's Tengu ---Tengu class Strategic Cruiser, "Karakkaze"

There are three Level V Secured areas aboard Katrina's vessel. The Lobby, The Gallery, and The Bedroom.

The Lobby is the first area available to visitors. Sprawling banks of holographic displays and control input stations line the tech filled walls. The floor is mostly a reinforced grating, underneath which are yet more control access points for Katrina. There are a number of chairs available, mostly in front of those consoles. In the center of the room is a large cylindrical beam of light. When Katrina is jacked into the Capsule, a holographic image of her body is projected there. Right now, it's blank.

The Gallery is a room built very much the same way as her other ship's bedrooms are, with glossed black surfaces and massive false window-walls that display the deep night sky outside. Refreshments and comfortable minimalistic seating is readily available, and a heating unit disguised as brilliant white holo-fire burns and flickers in the center of the room. A circular couch snakes around the virtual bonfire, with all sorts of strange shapes to the pillows to support fun and relaxation in countless positions. Even the floor around the fire is actually just one giant cushion.

The Bedroom is much more comfortable. Nestled deep within the ship, the soft thrum of the graviton reactors can easily be heard. Behind hidden panels in the softly curving black glossed walls, compartments for showering, food, clothing, medical supplies, and even a small armory can be found. The ultra-luxurious bed dominates the room, with advanced and expensive custom Capsuleer amenities at the walls.

The decks are patrolled at all times by shipboard marines, trained in close quarters combat and defense of critical areas of the ship. A small detachment of highly mobile and flexible Caldari Light Marines guards the captain, Katrina, at all times. Often waiting outside the secure rooms, they are the only crew authorized to enter if Aura determines Katrina is in danger.

Welcome to the Karakkaze. Welcome to Cold Wind.

Katrina's Tengu. I intend to write unique descriptions for the other three Tech 3 cruisers, but haven't gotten around to it yet, so this is the only one so far.

--- Quote from: Katrina's VR ---As your connection stabilizes to the virtual area, you can see it is built in quasi-traditional Caldari style. Making use of the virtual space, the architecture is built in a way that would be impossible or unreasonably expensive in reality. The room is quite literally a large space without walls bordered by the black ink of space. If you stepped 'off the edge', you might think you'd just fall into space and float away.

Looking out at a cluster of boiling lava planets, shimmering storm worlds, and looming ringed gas giants in the distance, the room is filled with planetary lighting. Speckled between the planets are various gas clouds, sleeper constructs, and asteroids of both rare and common ores. A brilliant light source shines far in the distance behind it all. Sometimes it's just a normal or binary star of varying sorts. Sometimes it's a magnificent black hole with accretion disk. Other times it's a pulsar, or a magnetar. The occasional starship silently looms in the distance at sublight speeds as if enjoying the scene. It's always a replica of a starship Katrina owns.

There in the center of the room is a single black leather recliner for Katrina. There isn't much else in the way of seating around here, though more chairs can be summoned at will. The soft thrums and chimes of Caldari ambient music can be heard. It's not much, and only really audible when there's nobody talking. It seems to accent the natural sounds of the surrounding celestial phenomena well.

Any crib qualifies!

Thorolfur:
Here is a prat of my collection.

Thorolfur's Office

The VR Office domain of Thorolfur H. d'Winter is a spherical room whose wall is one immense view screen.
On this view screen feeds from GalNet and IGS as well other information sources throughout the cluster can be seen, as well endless amounts industry and market data.
Hovering in the exact centre of this chamber is a platform on which a VR representation of Thor's desk and throne of office can be seen.
((As well as Thor if he happens to be using the chamber.))

Access to the channel is subject to Thor's will at any given moment.
((Though those who request IC convo's with Thor can assume that said convo is dealt with in the office if Thor opens the link, which due to having my coms set block those no my contacts list.
As stated in my bio: “I do not take convo's (eve-mail first)”))

There are other places that might count as cribs of Thor's, such as the House Winter fortress citadel on Malkalen V or his private Estate in Goram IV, but those I haven't setup as channels. It is also highly unlikely that Thor would invite anyone there.
In case of the City, know as “The Iron-Tower of Malkalen”, the reason Thor rarely invites people there is the forbidden city mentality House Winter's People.
In the case of his Estate on Goram, he simply doesn’t like to share it with other, its his place to be alone.

Anslol:
Just for the record, this thread can't be used for IC things in ANY way right? Like at all? Not even a hint? I only ask because the last thing I need is someone having a road map to my icey island.
