More stuff on combat armor.

Specs for Caldari Heavy Assault Combat Suit, or HACS-12:
Fully Motorized combat exoskeleton utilizing two primary layers of defense: primary defense is layers of Metal Ablative Plating, similair to that found on ships, covering all vital areas, and overlapping plates covering the joints, secondary is a kind of 'shield' (really more of an ionization field to deflect or diffuse light and heat based weapons) which causes the surrounding air to act as a prism of sorts for light. The HACS-12, like most Heavy Assault Suits, requires a full strength enhancement package to wear, including skeletal reinforcement packages. Like all Assault-grade Military combat suits, the HACS-12 is fully pressurized
hardsuit, and can carry up to fifteen minutes of oxygen on-board for sudden depressurizations, and allows for external oxygen tanks to be attached, adding further oxygen supplies. Users of the HACS-12 are typically issued the either State-produced HCAR-49, which stands for Heavy Combat Assault Rifle, which is a 12mm Hybrid Assault rifle with a rate of fire of 400rpm, or the Minmatar-made HVC(heavy Vulcan Cannon), which fires 12mm rounds at a terrifying rate of 1600rpm, as their primary weapon. Furthermore, the HACS-12 has superior ammunition-carrying ability, allowing for up to 5,000 12mm rounds for the HVC, or 800 rounds for the HCAR-49, if they are issued that instead. The HACS-12 can also have external ammunition stores mounted to it, on the very same hardpoints as the oxygen stores (note you cannot have both at the same time), however, due to the limited range of motion offered by the HACS-12, this ammunition store is not accessible by the wearer, and instead acts as a mobile resupply platform for friendly troops.

The HACS-12, like all Heavy Armor Suits, features a fully climate-controlled interior, allowing the wearer to operate in conditions as hot as 800 Degrees Kelvin (that's 527 Degrees Celcius) or as low as 173.15 Degrees Kelvin (-100 degrees celcius). Sadly, usage above or below these operating temperatures is garunteed, lethal, as the armor will simply melt or freeze.

The HACS-12 also features the standard Caldari Heads-Up Display, or HUD inside the helmet, and features the latest in Aim Assist technology, and an Integrated Identify Friend/Foe(IFF) beacon system, as well as an Onboard Situational Awareness Module, which gives combat awareness of targets out to fifteen feet.
Repairs to the Armor, due to it's nature, require a field engineer.
The HACS-12 has a maximum movement speed on foot of 2.5 m/s.
Like all Heavy Combat Suits, the HACS-12 is custom-fit to the wearer.
Height: 3 meters
Width(shoulder): 101.6cm
Weight: 550kg
Mass: na

Minmatar combat armor, by contrast, would be very simple, focusing more on mobility and stealth rather than just pure defense.

Gallente combat Armors would be the middle ground of most combat armors. Heres the Spec I've got for the Gallente 'Heavy' Assault suit: (note it's still incomplete)

Similair in design to the Caldari HACS-12, but utilizizing lighter, yet stronger nanofiber plating, the 15th iteration of the Gallente Armored Combat Suit, or ACS-15 features state-of-the-art Nanofiber plating covering all vital areas and ablative ceramic plating covering weak spots such as the joints. The ACS-15, while lacking the raw defensive power of the Caldari-made HACS-12, it is significantly faster on land, and offers a full range of motion, thanks to its patented Sliding Plateā„¢ Technology, and fully Mechanized joints. Furthermore, the Gallente military has begun testing the nACS-15, a version of the ACS-15 which features on-shell nanobots to repair the outer shell. Thus far results have not been promising, as several instances of nanobots using the wearer as 'material' for repairs have been reported. The ACS-15 also features several automated functions, such as the Famous 'AimAssist' technology, and the infamous "Kung-Fu' Upgrade, which uses the motorized limbs to perform martial arts moves, even though the wearer may have little or no experience with any sort of Martial art.

Like all other Heavy Combat Suits, the ACS-15 is fully pressurized, carries fifteen minutes of oxygen, and is climate controlled, allowing for operation in temperatures comprable to the Caldari model.
Height: 2.8m
Width(shoulder): 96.8cm
Weight: 437.9kg

Amarrian's would not tend to use HCS's very often, but I imagine they do on occaision. The Caldari Model requires a lot more training and hardware strapped to the user's body than the Gallente one does, as it's fucking heavy as hell.

Lighter combat armors would rely more on lighter Ablative ceramic, which while effective against conventional projectile weapons, is less so against light/heat based weapons, and particularly poor against plasma-based weapons (such as a gallente Plasma Rail Rifle) However, it does provide some defense, as the ablative ceramic effective 'boils' away in layers, deflecting the energy of such weapons away from the wearer.
