Hm, yes, if that's what you mean by it, then I think lots of people already assume that their implants have at least some wireless communication capability.

I know of two who've been/are somewhat 'terrestrial' and prefer dudes.  The former is retired and the latter can be a bit hard to catch, however. :)

I still don't know what "terrestrial" means in this context.

While I'm at it, though, truly nonviolent characters would also be good.

I'm assuming "characters with lives and connections outside the world of podders (typically "planetside", although adjustable for non-planetary backgrounds)".
