I didn't really give alot of thought to Ko's background beyond that when I created her   probably I'll  get more ideas for her after a few tries at RP.

Don't worry, you tend to build on it as you go. No need to have everything fleshed out before you even start.

Just today, I had a discussion with a friend about how much we tend to overrate the importance of backstory. As much as I love planning characters, those I've designed rather than discovered tend to wither for me quickly. The ones I've really enjoyed playing all came about from nothing more than a broad concept that I developed through gameplay and roleplay.

So just have fun! :)

You're doin' okey, Ko.

Speaking as someone who's heard a lot of backstories, especially from some now-prominent players who remained true to their newbie origin story with all the out of place elements they threw in because it took their fancy, and someone who has kept such a story goin' and had to work to smooth over the rough parts in it from day one, there's nothing wrong with taking it slow.

Even saves a headache later :P

Hehe... I did much the same thing, I wrote a bit of a backstory for my character after I started RP'ing with him to explain why I hadn't been in the Empire for a few years, then when I returned and started to develop the character - I designed his personality, beliefs, ideas and such from the RP I did.

So, what I am saying is that as long as you have a broad-based idea about how your character reacts and is, no need to make details untill you get inspiration and experience.

Basically, ENJOY :D

RP is whats kept me in EVE for the last 1 1/2 years.
