The problem i see is that these are general, open to all, unmoderated channels just like the gall, amarr, minmatar, caldari and jove empire chats that already existed

I imagine they were added to help the actors direct people relevant to a specific faction to a CCP controlled environment, more than anything.

Muckery is a possibility, but I don't know yet.

Nice n' all (hanging out in the Serpentis and Syndicate ones) but the Angel Cartel one seems to be causing issues for the existing Angel Cartel community channel.

problems with the existing faction channels, will eventually transfer.

problems meaning isk-spam, "lol ur a rper", miscellaneous shenanigans.

however, as a point of contact, it is useful, in that e.g. "i am interested in sansha rp, where would I go", has an Answer (also master is the answer).

instead of umpteen different organisations having their own public channels that are sparsely populated, there is now a place that is easy to find for anyone, and as such, may help to get a collection of people together, to get a critical mass, and then whoosh!, moar RP for everyone.
