Kellina spent the first 11 years of her life living in what she had always thought was a perfect existance. She went to her classes, and took exams, knew her parents went out to work everyday to help forward the cause of the Amarrian gaining back their former glory.
As Kellina got older and started to be granted further freedoms, in preparation for going off to university where she was certain she would become the most famous female capsuleer ever, there were certain things she started to take notice to. There were people that were always in her home, and she knew that they were servants, but the children were the same age as her, and she had never seen them in school, or out at the docking areas looking at the ships.
This is when Kellina started to ask questions, when there would be discussions about the war, and they would talk about the uprising. There started to be this need in her to know both sides of what happened. The more Kellina read, and the more she took the time to sneak down to the lower levels to talk to families, and see how they lived, Kellina realized she had been completely blinded to pretty much everything around her in life.
In the time Kellina spent getting to know the people she had always just taken for granted she befriended Nashton,one of the most interesting young men she had met. Had she realised then how much of an intregal part of her future he would prove to be, she would have run away with him right then and there.
So in Kellina's fourteenth year she made the decision she was going leave her home planet, to help her friend, find his family, and reunite them. After working out the details between the two of them Kellina, and Nashton both agreed that Kellina needed to finish school, and enter university where her parents would sponsor her. Mean time she continued to teach him to read and write, and all the basic things he would need in order to travel properly with Kellina. Keeping everything as secret as possible.
After graduation at 18, Kellina left for university, and her parents sent one the "servants" with her to assist with all the tasks that would take away from her studies. Both Kellina and Nashton thought this was their chance, but her parents chose an old woman to send with her. They knew that this would make their plans more difficult, but both knew the time would come. Making Nashton promise to keep up his studies Kellina left for university. Kellina studied hard for 2 years quickly advancing, and impressing her instructors.
She was offered the opportunity to fly with the home guard, and she quickly accepted the extra flight time. Kellina had always wanted to be a capsuleer, and knew this would just increase her chances of having even more freedoms given to her when she returned home. Kellina earned many awards for her quick thinking, and planning skills
The two years at university, and then the year in the guard training seemed to take forever, and Kellina had only had brief chances to speak with Nashton over that time. So when she returned home to find out that he was gone, without any word at all, and no message left for her with anyone, Kellina confronted her family, wanting to know if her father had, had anything to do with Nashton's disappearance. Her family denied any responsibility in what happened, but she had not trusted them in years.
Kellina knew her parents would never pay for her to go looking for him, so she took a job working on a Caldari trade ship. Kellina's father was apalled saying he hadn't spent all the effort and money just for her to jockey people's belonging around space. Kellina reminded him that she was an adult, and without a clear plan she headed to the docking station, knowing that if she worked on the routes and offered to make the routes for the pilots, was willing to provide protection to the large ships, she would have the chance to ask at every station they docked in if anyone had seen Nashton.
Kellina knew her best bet for finding him was to head off into Minmitar space, since that was where he originated from. So she started to save everything she could to get her own ship, since there were not a lot of trade routes in and out of that area, at least ones that would take her near the places she knew Nashton's family had lived.
By this point it had been close to 5 years since Kellina had last seen him, and she feared he may have been killed or even worse sold. Kellina had known for a long time that they weren't servants, but instead slaves her parents had just called something different to keep her from knowing what kind of people her Amarrian brothers and sisters were.
Kellina started to take on further escorts for the traders, and doing some freelance work to gather up proper means to strike out completely on her own, it took her yet another year to purchase my first ship of her own. At that time Kellina decided to start to sell off most of her belongings, and gather up as much route information as she possibly could. Kellina knew which lanes of traffic would allow her the safest travels, and where she could get access to the best stations to make sure my ship stayed in good repair.
This is where Kellina's journey truly began, and it has been another 3 years and she is still searching, but the galaxy is large, and she knows Nashton is still out there, with many others that need to have their stories told, and this is what Kellina intends to do when she find him....
