I might have picked a surname that was slightly easier to pronounce.

IHKS-eye-rihs. Easy if I've told you how, but isn't precisely the easiest to work out for the first time.

I've been butchering it into ir-icks-iss for the longest time.

You know how the brain can read a word just by seeing the first and last letters and the jumble in between? yeah, so while reading quickly I jumbled the 'r' and 'x' and then it just kinda stuck in my mind. Only in the last couple months did I realize I was wrong, but irixis rolls off the mental tongue easier.

I've just been ignoring the second 'i' entirely and thinking 'Irxis' (errcksiss).

Syyl and Yaan are fairly frequent names I use, though they were "born" in fantasy RP.

If I use their personae in a setting where their names aren't totally appropriate, I do as I have in EVE and operate from the understanding that these names are handles.

I intended my name to be pronounced Cow-lee-ford

Yet somehow all that comes to mind is a certain vegetable served with cheese

Morwen's Law:
1) The number of capsuleer women who are bisexual is greater than the number who are lesbian.
2) Most of the former group appear lesbian due to a lack of suitable male partners to go around.
3) The lack of suitable male partners can be summed up in most cases thusly: interested, worth the air they breathe, available; pick two.
