One Year! Looking for event suggestions.

We're rapidly coming up on the first anniversary of Backstage opening to the public (About 3 weeks away). I'm looking for ideas about events we might run to celebrate that.

Ideally something either free, or that can be funded with ISK. Beyond that, I'm open to everyone's suggestions!

I love Hamish's idea so much that I want to do terrible things to it.

The carebeary types can surely fly a battle badger in the roam, or a griffin or something.

And so long as it falls in school holidays, it won't matter much what time the roam is for me.

Around 00:00 EVE time is usually good. It's 11 in the morning for the AU, Midnightish for EU and Evening for US, so most people should be reasonable able to make it.

Returning to our regularly-scheduled socially-redeeming content, is there any event that we might all take part in IC? I think it'd have to be virtual, since we can't all share the same space, and I'm exercising my mind trying to invent something that'd be acceptable to the various faction's hardliners. A virtual, scrupulously-neutral pod-technology exhibition and trade fair with after-party, maybe?

If an OOC thing for RPers/RP is more the thing, maybe a thread for examples of excellent RP, or handy techniques for set-pieces or improvs, or anything that's about the craft and its practice.

Hamish, that's the greatest idea ever.

Maybe we can make it a sort of 'memorial roam' in honour of some community member we've lost during the year.
