I've been slowly reading my way through these forums for the last month or so, figured it was about time to say hello.  :)

Having seen some of the discussions here regarding different RP mindsets, I would say I fall into the "Eve as war game" camp. Most of my experience with role-playing comes from ditzing around in the Battletech/Mechwarrior setting, and I think Eve provides a lot of the same building blocks in terms of team building and competitive role-playing. Certainly, there's an emphasis on organization building that is difficult to find in games these days.

I've been in and out of Eve since 2007, and Incarna has finally given me the push I needed to really get back into the game. It's not much to look at now, but I have faith-- if CCP can't make the multiplayer part of Incarna work, WoD is going to be something of a non-event.  :)

Oh, and caffeine happens to be my drug of choice, so if someone could point me at the espresso machine. . .?

Welcome. Cookies be thar, the plain ones are actually fresh now, not that anyone eats them... There's a wide range of tea, coffe and stronger floating around somewhere. And I mean floating, the A-G has borked in the pantry.
Don't take strange looking candy from wierd Amarrian gentlemen, don't accept candy from well-dressed men and give the Sansha some hugging.

I think that's it, so welcome. If you need anything, I charge quite competitive rates for loans and am always willing to acquire new corpses for my Raptor repellant testing, tourists scream & fight too much.
