New blood
« on: 21 Feb 2011, 04:34 »

Hello

Straight to the point.

You may call me a newbie player. I have tried to start EVE a few times now; once on 2009 and once in the late 2010. Now it seems I finally made it and really subscribed.

I've got some experience on role playing from other games such as EverQuest II and, if you will, the "traditional" tabletop RPGs. (AD&D and GURPS). And now it's time for me to conquer the vast reaches of New Eden and its billions and billions of stars!

Or maybe not.

Anyways I'm looking forward to getting to know the people around here and hoping to enjoy my stay.

Now if you'll excuse me I'll head staright to the nearest cloning factory for just in case. Better safe than sorry.

Welcome

Your extra clone will not be needed, we already control that.

'Lo there.

It's black tie in here, but there's complimentary cigars and cognac.

We are the RP Community.

Divulge your character's traits and surrender your fiction.

Your storyline and background distinctiveness will be added to our own.

Your character will adapt to service us.

Resistance is Futile.

I like the implications of Gallentians being punched in the face by walking up to a Minmatar as they so freely use another person's culture as a fad.

Hello, fresh meat.

*hands over a gun and clips*

Keep this handy. People start to get really close... pop a knee-cap, then run. Anyone offering drugs you don't want, pop a throat. Amarrians offering candy... pop a toe, then flee.

The cookies are generally a shifty bunch - the chocolate ones are edible, if there are anyone left. The rest needs to be replaced soon if they have not, the old one's are somewhat out of date.

Tea and coffee is good, unless spiked with crash. Spirits should be fine too.

Sansha are kill on sight if you value your brains. The bitter old vets may offer insight and advice upon request, but be prepared for bitter old veterancy and the acompanying stories.

Above all else, mind the forum rules and regulations and post away to your heart's content.

Last but not least, have fun here and get to know all the bizzare inhabitants. You might as well, as there is no escaping now.

News just in:
I've sold all the ancient, crusty plain cookies to the Minmatar Navy as ablative armor. It's okay as they're prone explode if hit with too much heat.
I suggest not killing the Sansha as they only want to give hugs. They're not evil, just socially maladjusted. Like zombies. Omnomnom. Umm, where was I? Oh yah, don't trust strange Amarrian men, they just want to touch you inappropriately and do wiggly things whilst you're chained to a wall.

I think that's it.
Us bitter vets are oppinionated and I charge a small sum of 5,000 per word of advice. This is a freebee. [=
