April Knox. CCADZ-211292190-XY - Artist representing Wirashoda Solar System.
April Knox's triptych faithfully depicts the ruthless and lonely sands of Wirashoda II, a small planet colonized in 23314 AD by the private efforts of Hyasyoda Corporation. Isolation, abandonment, fate, all emotions strengthened by the high contrast photographs of sand dunes and the exquisite ripples that the wind casts on them. The artist's skill was to capture all these feelings while staying close to the documentary photography tradition.
The exhibition was made possible by CEP Chief Executive Panel and House of Records joint efforts. Additional conservation support has been provided by The Caldari State Chief Executive Panel and Mercantile Club. The exhibition catalogue was made possible by Itken Hodan, Chief Archivist of House of Records.
