In an effort to facilitate interaction between roleplayers, I've created an ingame, out-of-character channel for players to advertise RP opportunities called LF-RP. The channel would work in a similar fashion to that of a LFG channel, where people advertise what they are looking for, and people contact them privately to work out the details. Some examples of opportunities that could be advertised would include the following:

RP events
RP Corporation recruitment
RP Channel advertisement
A link to your character's blog

I've also created an accompanying mailing list with the same name (LF-RP), intended for the same purpose except with eve-mail advertisements. My long term projects are to include some neutral RP channel locations that are open to the public for characters to interact, as well as some RP guides for new players on etiquette and some basic history of the EVE background.

Our ultimate purpose is to make this channel a hub for players who enjoy RP to find other individuals who share their interests with greater ease. Hopefully this kind of access will make the RP community more accessible to players who might be interested, and potentially help it grow in the future!

Yeah, absolutely! Saves me the 'channel space', and gives others an opportunity to see the different kind of environments that are out there. We could even make a 'world tour' of all the different player-made locales in existence, like a travel-guide of sorts.
