Have you tried it out?  How would it work for games other than D&D?  I run an Eclipse Phase game for some people and this would be handy to use.

No, I haven't. Looks like it has potential though.

Yeah, I'm going to poke around with it.  I'm sure it works great for things like D&D since that's what it's designed for.    I want to know how adaptive it is though.

let me know, cause I might want to use it to DM an unhallowed game if its decent.

Except fiddle with your dice.

I guess there could be some chip embedded to dice that would work with the tablet thingie.

Well, sure, you can't actually hold some dice, but there IS a dice simulator.

Haha, that also works, but Im quite happy with a RNG to be honest.  I know, I know.  This means I can't do any of the little rituals.

But yeah, was playing around with this last night.  It has some neat features, some of which could be improved.  You can search, easily, for tokens, or add your own.   You can put in a JPG image for a map, which you can also search for via keywords, or upload from your computer.  It has music selections available off of soundcloud, also keyword searchable.

Some of the weaknesses I found were the lack of a real 'line' drawing tool, aside from picking rectangle, locking it to the grid, and then drawing a 'rectangle' with only 1 dimension, and the fact that you can't upload your own music, leaving you having to pick and choose from what you can find through roll20's search function.

I haven't tried out the webcam function and likely wont because one of the benefits of playing over the internet is that I dont have to look at other doritos-eating mountain dew-swilling ubernerds, and I can play in my underwear AND NO ONE WILL KNOW.
