Now that I am done watching people shake hands and dance, I did notice this:

Apparently a new, open source, Frontier-on-steroids is in the works. Well. If that project ever gets done (and I certainly hope so), I am relatively sure I'll disappear from the face of the Earth for a few months. (Both proverbially and ingame.)

Always love games like these, especially ones where you can fly into the planetary atmospheres. X is good, brilliant in fact, but requires a level of intuitiveness as a commercial product. Too bad Vega Strike development has slowed to a halt.

I think this is one to keep an eye on. I noted in the interview that they haven't really begun to balance anything yet, so I'd rather wait a bit before jumping in myself.
