I don't know anything about Scion, but the TV Tropes page for Exalted says:

It's like if you put Beowulf, Homer's epics, and greek, babylonian, and chinese myths in a blender with anime and wire-fu movies. It can get very over-the-top, but it's supposed to do that.
Edit to add: Sorry. I found something about it and see what you meant. It's close, yes, except it's a fantasy setting, Celestial Exalted are chosen instead of being the children of a god, and they've already killed or imprisoned the Primordials (Titans) thousands of years ago.
