Thanks to those who offered kind sentiments or observations, here. Murientor is buzzing like an apiary just now and everyone looks to be content with the way it is going, with some frenzied tribal re-assessment thingy happening, wherever that takes them.

My own character, to which Seriphyn will testify, was a damp squib for the longest time. Now, she and I both are enjoying a new dimension. A new self-confidence or something along those lines.

@Lyn Farel, you bugged out around the 'non-sequitur' part, and that was unfortunate because you were doing a stellar job. Not long ago, I sent you an eve-mail with a 'we need more Lyn Farels and Scaggas!' theme. I still believe that, but since there aren't many characters anyone can associate with the nefantar tribe nowadays -even loosely -Lyn is the devil-woman for the restless Murientor, if you follow.

You're a great sport, and thank you very much.

Edited to add: Devil-woman she may be. Doesn't mean she'll be ragged on -and on and on. We do like to keep a sense of perspective wherever possible.

Best regards,

Yes I remember that mail. Lyn may not be very ammatarish but I too miss the Ammatar faction, which is currently close to non-existing.

I would have liked to continue in that debate somehow, but considering the character it is not in her habits to carry on if something does not show any sign of progress and she will usually try another approach. Also, when she saw that people like Diago came to argue with Murientor it was only logical for her to step back and watch to be sure they do not "ally" together against what she could have said after.

Thanks for the support.

Frankly I think CCP took the air out of the Ammatar faction by forcing everyone allied with it to make a choice; good RP but bad for factional cohesion. Minor factions are fun because you can be a little more unique but there's a danger there, like when CCP had the EoM explicitly disclaim their capsuleer supporters.

That said, I think major factions can have a higher tolerance for division because they have so much additional support in game mechanics and lore.
