Currently watching the Microsoft press conference here.

Very impressed with what Microsoft has to offer with Kinect and YouTube coming to Xbox Live (!). Being able to play Ghost Recon Future Soldier with no controller, tweak weapons with the same, and so on. Voice search etc.

Interested to see what Sony has to offer to rival.

It's going to be a tough show to follow, that's for sure.

I had to tear out my headphones and hide my face in shame when the cutesy family stuff came on (like Disneyland and Sesame Street), but overall, this Kinect thing (with fun spell-casting for Fable: The Journey and force powers for Kinect Star Wars) looks poised to wipe the floor.

The Wii had all that potential, but it looks like all the developers for the Wii went "You know what, fuck it" and just made ordinary, last-gen ports for it from the PS3/360.

Well, FWIW the Wii only has 64 megs of memory. I've also heard that, from a developer's point of view, the Wii mote doesn't work very well. It can be very hard to make it do what you want it to do.

Looks like there will be another Neverwinter too.

From the trailer I guess the soundtrack is hardcore rock and everyone in the game likes to strike poses. >_>

Star Wars The Old Republic still looks good to me.

And even if the game fails (hope it doesn't), we still have stuff like this (not actual gameplay, just the intro movie).

I have always been disgusted by SWTOR, and their Tatooine presentation was a total disaster imo, but I have to admit that I now feel at least some sort of envy to try and play it nevertheless. Probably because it is a Star Wars. Hope the stories will be good, at least, considering how terrible they have been now for some time with bioware (dragon age 2, the second half and the end of ME 2, etc).

Star Wars sucks.

Kinect is a rip off of the Wii, expect 3 years later.

DO NOT POST WHILE TRASHED! THIS POST IS THE RESULT! Unless you are less grammatically concerned than me. In that case your post will be something like "nbsdfg  tgerfg ergsdfgis."
