Hello there, this is my main character running for 3 years now. For the most part I lurk around IGS, some of you might have seen me post there. I don't see myself rping her in the long term, but I am interested in imagining her place in the Greater Scheme of Things™ and I thought I might as well share her background here. Val has a relatively small build and is an adept swimmer. She tries to stay in good condition through her clones. Mainly of Intaki ancestry, she carries some Ni-Kunni features from her grandmother. No particular physical feature (implants, tattos etc.) that follows her clone to clone.

*sounds of doors opening and being closed*
"Evening miss, I understand it's the spaceport you're going to ?"
*a quiet indistinct voice seems to acknowledge this*
"Good, good. So, you were at the thing in the Arena tonight ?"
*the passenger says something about being the Empress's guest*
"Oh, you must have had a great view then. I was watching it on my portable. Strange event wasn't it ?"
*passenger seems to agree*
"I'm sure the Empress has her reasons. Not really my taste though."
*indeterminate time passes*
*passenger asks something about why taxis are a thing instead of autonomous vehicles*
"Oh, we get that a lot from off-worlders. Yeah, it's the Empress's preference to have someone drive her, rather than a machine. Says it allows her to find out things from the ordinary person."
*passenger expresses surprise*
"I guess when you're a monarch, you tend to hear things filtered through all the bureaucracy or something?"

"Besides that, technically we're employees of the Tourism Agency. We're supposed to help visitors acclimatise to the local customs, point out the sights and all that. Saves the offworlders a bit of confusion, I guess. No offence."
