So saw this, courtesy of Makoto: New Eden Trading Company (https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/5e5cu4/new_eden_trading_company_connecting_the_stars_mc/), and given the people signed on for it, it might even do what it says. The last thing I recall that was anything like this was ISS, and even that was nowhere near this scale.

Still a very thoughtful plan.  The logistics alone are impressive.

I was impressed by the ISK invested....4 trillion? and with no clear "ROI" plan, it is a gamble, since the appeal is every nullsec powerbloc can bypass any blockades and juse use the NETC jump-road to get new stuff....

It is impressive, but not really something i like with its "less public" use.
