they might need to change some things, i thought trial accounts (which these alpha clone things will extend), couldn't post outside a few forums ?

Have they said anything about IGS posting privileges with regard to this change yet?

They haven't really said anything too much about restrictions aside from what skills can be trained and the inability to use extractors.
They are looking into login restrictions similar to how trial accounts are limited (can't run a trial and a paid account from the same machine simultaneously) and have noted that restricting safeties in highsec is an option. Beyond that they've said little.

Man, and here I was winning Eve whilst playing the Polish interactive soft-porn simulator known as The Witcher. I curse CCP for this move and the impending salt mine that is the OGB nerf.
I guess I'll have to spin up the shitposting device for another run in November and get the Kestrels out for Harambe.
Just after I figure out how to get a threesome with Yennefer and Triss.

Figures that you would be successful with that simulator. Me? I keep assuming that the controls are like Skyrim's, running out of the bedroom from the scary lady who thinks it's funny to puts magic scorpions in the bathtub and .... then falling off the balcony.

Then I go back to playing Skyrim for six months before I try again.

Gotta say one thing, for many latin american gamers (like me) free eve is going to be a welcome change, it is often difficult to finance hobbies charged in USD or EUR, that require you have a proper credit card.
So i'll recruit plenty of friends around here to fly cheap cruisers and enjoy the items i've hoarded for the last 3 years (got over 4bill in meta items who knew).....

Just do what I do and spend all your gold on prostitutes at the Passiflora and be glad that as a Witcher, Geralt is immune to syphilis and chlamydia.
Then go hunt down Shrek while getting drunk and high on potions.

I never really could get into those kinds of hentai games myself (even if they are #myfetish). More of a yandere with a dash of bête noire fan myself.

I didn't leave for financial reasons, although being able to log in and chat without a subscription is quite interesting.
Will certainly be harder to back up space words with space violence with tiny skillpoint cap though, eh? Maybe I'll just run a bar or something.

Alternatively you embrace the fact that you can sell 80-90% of your monthly gained SP for a PLEX.

With the Alphas, I've already had 3 pilots return to SFRIM, whether as mains or alts. Here's hoping we see other rpers return!

The skill restrictions on alphas are fairly brutal. But I guess that helps with persuading people to pay.

I mean, for me, it has had the desired effect. And now I feel the hook as deeply as ever...
...which might be a problem tbh. I didn't leave because of financial reasons, after all.
